How to Register:

If your child is a returning student from KMC, class options will be on your portal.

If your child is new to the KMC studio, you will need to set up an account via our parent portal in order to register for classes.

All of the A La Carte Summer Classes are listed under the “Events” section. If you have a new student, you must first register for the class “Summer Session 2026” That is NOT actual registration for a class, registering for that class gives you access to the “Events” page where you will find all of our Summer Classes.

4 week sessions and Helen's Camps are listed in the Classes section on your portal.

Come and see why the KMC studio has been teaching the art of dance in the STMA area for over 25 Years!

Have your child come and try a little bit of ballet, tap and possibly jazz to see if they have interest in getting involved in a dance program. This is a great way to see the studio, meet some of our award-winning instructors and see what a dance class is like at KMC! Participants should wear comfortable clothing, have socks for the ballet portion of the class and tennis shoes for the other portions of the class. All participants will receive a free gift for attending.

4 Week Sessions

"Dance With Me" Classes for 2-3 year olds

This 30-minute session will introduce the basics of dance to 2-3 year olds with help during class from a parent/caretaker. Participants will work on large and small motor skills, rhythm, coordination, working with others, balance and direction all while using lots of fun props and music. Dancers will learn about the fundamentals of dance while also learning important

skills such as taking turns, listening versus talking time, spacial awareness all while developing their confidence! Participants are encouraged to have dance attire (leotards or tank tops and spandex shorts) and ballet and tap shoes. .

Session #1 Tuesdays June 9th-June 30th 9:00-9:30 am

Ballet/Tap Combination for 3-6 Year Olds 4-week Session $50.00

This Class is designed for children ages 3-6 with limited or no dance experience. It is a great way to see if dance lessons are a good fit for your child and to see what classes at the KMC studio are like. Class participants will have a 4-week session that will incorporate ballet and tap in the 45-minute classes. Participants are encouraged to have dance attire (leotards or tank tops and spandex shorts) and ballet and tap shoes. Used dance shoes can sometimes be found at places like “Once Upon A Child” The KMC studio also carries new and used dance shoes and dance attire.

Classes for 7-10 Year Olds 4-week Session $55.00

Designed for children aged 7-10 years old with or without limited dance experience. It is a great way to see if dance lessons are a good fit for your child and to see what classes at the KMC studio are like. Dancers will have a 4-week session that will incorporate ballet, tap and jazz. Participants are encouraged to have dance attire (leotards or tank tops and spandex shorts) and ballet and tap shoes.

3 Day Intensives for Show Unit

This is our summer program to get the dancers ready for the fall dance season! Each Show Unit Group will have a 3-day 3 hour intensive available. During the 3 hours the dancers will

*Have the chance to bond with their new groups

*Have the opportunity to try new styles of dance including lyrical, hip hop, contemporary and/or musical theatre

* Back to Class basics like stretching, strength training and technique * Team Building exercises

Price for the 3-day Camp Incentive is $150.00. That price includes 9 hours of classes and a provided snack each day.

Show Unit Kick-Off Party Wednesday July 29th

This is a favorite activity with our show unit dancers! Lots of games/prizes/Recital 2027 theme reveal/ team bonding/movies/crafts…and Christine always thinks of and plans for more fun activities as the date approaches 🙂

2 options:

Option #1 5:00-10:00 pm $65

Option #2 $90 (Sleepover option)

We will show a movie in the studio starting at 10:30 and have some evening activities planned. Snacks will be served during the movie and breakfast items will be available. Dancers need to be picked up Thursday July 30th at 8:00 am

A La Carte Classes

Each Class is an ala carte option Each 30-minute Class is $12.00. If a dancer takes 3 classes in a night, the price goes down to *$10 per class.

*A refund will go on your portal within 3 days once the class registration comes through

SUMMER CLASS PUNCH CARD!!!

Take any 10 classes all summer for only $90.00! Once purchased, your dancer will have a punch card at the studio, we will keep it at the desk during the summer. You still need to register for the classes they plan on attending so our teachers can prepare dances/combinations for the class. When your dancer comes in for class, we will take the price of the class off of your portal and initial their punch card. At the end of the summer, all punch cards that were completed with 10 classes will be put into a drawing for an exclusive KMC merchandise item that won't be available to purchase, only available to win if 10 classes are completed. Each dancer must have their own card, they cannot be shared. You can find the option to purchase the punch card under the :EVENTS: section.

Drop off your dancers for 2 ½ fun filled hours with Miss Helen! Each day will be filled with crafts, games, snacks and dancing surrounding the theme for the day. Dancers are encouraged to dress for the theme. Day camps are $30. If you sign up with a friend that is new to the KMC studio, then you BOTH receive a 50% discount, so the camp is $15.00. If you sign up for all 3 camps, then the price is $75 for all 3 days.
